Labiaplasty is the surgical trimming of the labial skin in females.  Labiaplasty is also known as a labioplasty.  This procedure is sometimes called vaginal rejuvenation.

Women with excessive skin of the labia majora and labia minora have many symptoms.   This anatomic region collects moisture.  Excessive skin folds can lead to rashes, infections, burning, and bleeding.  The skin can get caught in tight jeans.  The skin can be visible in swimwear and sometimes fall out of the contour of the swimsuit.

Tightening is a surgical procedure.  It can be done alone or in combination with other surgical procedures such as liposuction, breast surgery, or abdominoplasty.
